The Coimbatore Junction is the nearest major railway station. Kodaikanal can also be reached by bus from cities across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Buses are also available from Bangalore.

By Flight:

Located around 120 km away, Madurai Airport serves as the nearest airport to Kodaikanal. Daily flights from Chennai, Bangalore, Trichy and Mumbai arrive here. On arrival at the airport, passengers can board a cab or local train to reach Kodaikanal. Flights till Trichy and Coimbatore can also be availed to reach Kodaikanal.
